What: Allows users to manage the full process of biosecurity sampling tasks—including task creation, progress tracking, sample deletion, and test result uploads—ensuring the integrity and traceability of all testing data.

When: Whenever biosecurity sampling and result management are required on the farm, spanning from task creation through to result upload.

Performed by: Farm Manager or Laboratory Personnel

What Is Sampling

Sampling is the process of collecting specific specimens (e.g., blood, environmental swabs) in accordance with biosecurity protocols. Each sampling task includes:

• Test: The types of pathogens to test for (e.g., PCR, antibody assays)
• Sampling Targets & Container IDs: The corresponding sampling or container identification numbers

Where Do the Samples in the “Pending Test” List Come From

Samples may originate from any of the following three sources:

1. Entrance sampling completed during the farm entry process
2. Sampling activities performed by staff via the mobile App
3. Sample records added manually

Sampling Functionality

1. Task Creation: Create and dispatch sampling tasks to the mobile App via the web console.
2. Progress Monitoring: View the status of sampling tasks and track sample testing progress.
3. Result Upload: When uploading test reports, the system automatically links them to the correct sampling tasks using the sampling ID, ensuring each result maps accurately to its original sample.
